·       Croctoberfest

-Held every Thursday in September from 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM at The Henry Doorly Zoo, located at 3701 10th St. The cost for non-members is $33/person and for members is $25/person.

-An exciting adult event featuring an array of food and beverage options, plus an immersive dive into the world of crocodiles and alligators. Explore captivating exhibits, engage with interactive experiences, and attend educational talks about these fascinating reptiles. Enjoy live music and performances throughout the evening. ·       Beats and Seats: Midtown Musical Chairs

-Held September 13 from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM in Turner Park located at 3110 Farnam St. It is free admission.

- Let your inner child run wild at Turner Park with Midtown Crossing’s Beats and Seats, Omaha’s inaugural adult Musical Chairs event! Compete for a seat while grooving to a local DJ’s beats and enjoy surprises and prizes throughout the night.

·       OSC Cornhole Classic

-Held September 14 starting at 11 AM in the Blackstone District located at 36th and Farnam Streets. The cost is $45/team of 2 people.

- Come to The Blackstone District for the second annual OSC Cornhole Classic! OSC and The Blackstone District have teamed up to bring you a day of cornhole excitement right on the streets. Enjoy live music, sip on drinks at the outdoor bar, catch football games on a massive 16-foot screen, and, of course, play plenty of cornhole. It’s a perfect mix of sports, entertainment, and community fun!

·       AppleJack Festival

-Held September 20-22 and September 28-29 with activities beginning at 8 AM In Nebraska City. The cost will vary depending on the activity.

- Experience the charm of Nebraska City at the AppleJack Festival, hosted by Arbor Day Farm! Celebrate the apple harvest with a variety of fun activities, including apple picking, wine and hard cider tastings, and delicious fresh apple pies. Don’t miss the AppleJack Fun Run/Walk and a host of other exciting events.

·       German-American Society Oktoberfest

-Held September 20 from 5 PM – 12 AM at the German-American Society located at 3717 S. 120th St. in Omaha. The cost is $7/person.

- Experience the largest and longest-running German Fest in Nebraska, celebrating its 140th year! Savor authentic German cuisine and beers. Enjoy lively performances from a variety of German bands. It’s a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in rich traditions and festive fun!

·       Olde Elkhorn Fall Festival

-Held September 21 from 11 AM – 4 PM in Elkhorn. It is free to attend.

- Don’t miss the inaugural Elkhorn Fall Festival in Olde Towne Elkhorn! Celebrate the season with a delightful mix of local shopping, live music, vibrant vendors, and entertaining street performers.

·       Gifford Farm Fall Festival

-Held September21 from 10 AM – 3 PM at ESU #3 – Gifford Farm Education Center located at 700 Camp Gifford Road in Bellevue. The cost is $6/person, kids under 2 are free.

- Join us at Gifford Farm for a fantastic day of fun and fundraising! Explore the nature classroom, enjoy engaging animal presentations, take a scenic hayride, and soak up live music.  The festival boasts a variety of food trucks and many more activities.

·       Heartland Marathon

-Held September 22. The race begins at 7 AM and ends at 1 PM at 1155 Gallup Drive. Visit heartlandmarathon.org/details for more information.

Whether you’re tackling the full marathon, half marathon, 10K, or marathon relay, you’re in for an unforgettable day of fitness and fun. -Held September 27-29 and October 4-6. Friday from 11AM – 6 PM; Saturday from 9 AM – 7 PM; Sunday 10 AM – 5 PM. Located at 1150 River Road Drive, Waterloo. General admission is $15; full weekend admission is $25; free for children 12 and under.

- Discover a treasure trove at Junkstock, where vintage finds, unique antiques, handmade goodies, and creative repurposed relics come to life! ·       Omaha Home Expo

-Held October 4-6. Friday from 12 PM – 6 PM; Saturday from 10 AM – 5 PM; Sunday from 11 AM – 4 PM. Located at the CHI Health Center at 455 N. 10th St. Admission is free.

·       Japanese Ambiance Festival

Held October 5 – 6 from 10 AM – 4 PM at Lauritzen Gardens located at 100 Bancroft St. $15 for ages 13+; $9 for ages 3 – 12; Free for children under 2.

·       Fall Fest

-Held October 12 from 10 AM – 1 PM at the Hummel Nature Center located at 3033 Hummel Park Road. Admission is free.

-Embrace the fall season at the City of Omaha Parks & Recreation Fall Fest! This family-friendly event offers a host of outdoor activities including nature hikes, fall crafts, delicious s’mores, and a variety of outdoor games.

·       Autumn Festival – An Arts and Crafts Affair

-Held November 7 – 10. November 7 – 8 from 11 AM – 8 PM; November 9 from 9 AM – 6 PM; November 10 from 10 AM – 4 PM. Cost for admission is $10/adult; $9/seniors; Children under 10 are free.
